| The balloon testing dogboning according to DIN EN 14299:2004 7.3.4.5.6 consists of the determination of a diameter displacement between implant and balloon at its proximal and distal ends.  The Dogboning-Testing-System of Certiga determines the diameter at full length of a stent inflated with a balloon by utilizing a two-dimensional acquisition system. A possible overextension at the ends of the balloon and a possible sticking out of stent struts are recorded.
